My wife and I will be visiting Stockholm for the first time next week and would appreciate some suggestions. Thanks!

My wife is currently pregnant with our first child and we wanted to spend our last international adventure in your wonderful country before our daughter arrives in a few months. We are in our early 30s and are adventurous/experienced travelers, though we have never been to Sweden.

We'll be in Stockholm from September 2-9 but we are also happy to travel to the surrounding area. We love museums (of both the art and history/cultural variety), food (both fine dining and trying new/interesting things), booze (beer in particular), and participating in anything local that's a bit off the beaten path. If any helpful Swedish redditors could post some suggestions (especially the kind of stuff you won't find on Trip Advisor), we would really appreciate it.
