A Raven to Winterfell

William had received a letter from Lord Karstark during his time in White Harbor and found the contents....troubling to say the least. He'd said for everyone to fortify their holdings, for what reason, William couldn't say. He'd prepared his men to march months ago, but so far they had only marched on Barrowton with Ser Rickard, and what a lovely mess that had made of everything, he sure as shit wasn't going to be lead into another mess like that on the urgings of some lord. He penned a letter, he'd been doing too much of that for his liking lately.

Whoever the Stark in Winterfell is,

I received a troubling letter from Lord Gilbar Karstark, what in the seven hells is going on? Are men needed for anything, I have my troops prepared to march and they could leave within a day or so for Winterfell if they are needed.
