Something thats holding me back from leveling the character i want (profession related)

Im just looking for advice on this matter as im unsure what to do in Legion.

I recently started playing on a new server for good, i've given up on the characters i've had on other servers and just comitted to this one. I currently have 3 100s, and with being new i only had time/gold to level the professions to 700 on one.

What has me very concerned right now going into the expansion is related to that. I dont have much gold and the character i really want to play has no professions and that has me concerned that i will have no way to make gold and progress (enchant and stuff like that) my gear.

Is there any way besides professions to make gold? Otherwise i am stuck leveling one of the character i despise ATM with the very little time i have.
