[NY, FL] Child support question

About a year ago while living in NY, I placed my son's father on child support. I've recently moved to FL and now he & I have decided to settle this matter outside of court. I would like to modify the current order and if possible completely end the order but do not plan on heading to NYC anytime soon. What can be done?
