Problems with the quest for restoration shaman artifact weapon.

Not sure if the quest is imbalanced or i'm just bad but i'm finding it literally impossible to kill the final boss in the abyssal maw. the npcs you fight with are getting killed before i can get her to 3 quarters of her health and i believe im doing the skill rotations for DPS fine on her. using the lvl 100 boosted gear by the way.
