Daycare nap question (not your typical nap time question)
So my three year old son goes to an in-home daycare/preschool. There are about 8 other children there with two teachers running the program. I recently found out that my son sleeps in the laundry room at his preschool. The other kids sleep in various rooms throughout the house on nap mats. Apparently my son won't sleep unless it is dark and quiet away from other kids. I was told he will stay on his mat wherever they put him throughout the house, but the laundry room is the only place he will actually sleep. I guess I'm not sure how to feel about this. Can I get some opinions on this? Something just doesn't feel right about it to me... :/
EDIT: Thank you so much for all of the responses. After reading all the comments I decided to go ahead and ask to see the laundry room where he sleeps. It is actually a large room with nothing within his reach that could be potentially dangerous. The teacher also reassured me that the door stays open and the door entrance to the garage stays locked. After seeing the space, it definitely put my mind at ease. Thanks, I truly appreciate it!!!!
