Research sources for 70s home interior design?

My wife and I were born in mid-70s Southern California. We'd like to add some of that familiar old style (colors, textures, lighting, furniture, art, etc.) to our home. We're beginning with research, and I am looking for reference images (in old periodicals, books, websites) of home interiors of that time.

I'm going to the Multnomah Central Library in Portland to see what they might have (back issues of Sunset, House & Garden?), but I also wanted to see if fellow redditors had other ideas or links? Thank you for your help.
