Question about getting emails from UT after graduating
So I just graduated from UT (or at least I think I did) after the Summer 2016 semester. Long story short, I was dismissed from UT two times because of my grades (that's another story), and I was able to get the GPA I needed to get financial aid and the GPA to graduate this month.
I've been receiving emails that we would receive when we were students, such as a welcome back email from President Fenves. I've also just received an email saying that since I am not enrolled as a full-time student, that I would not be receiving financial aid. Well yeah, because I thought I graduated?? I'm kind of freaking out here.
I took the necessary steps to apply to graduate and get all my other ducks in a row. I've even purchased my Texas Exes Life Membership. My question is, has anyone experienced this before? Maybe the school just hasn't updated their email list? I would die if something didn't go as planned and I somehow didn't "graduate."
Please let me know if you guys have similar experiences. Thanks.
