A question to Xbox One S users

On the new console, have you seen a noticeable difference in the response time of the dashboard and just better performance all together? I have the Gears 4 console preordered but I need to know if its worth that money. My current console is slow on the dashboard, and just the xbox UI in general, and thats the main reason I'm buying the S. I have an original 2013 day one xbone and I need to know to if its truly an upgrade, thanks.
