How is the Furry Fandom perceived in non-english speaking countries?

Mainly wondering about European countries and Japan. In the US, Aus, and UK we've had the phrase "yiff in hell furfag" for years and a general stigma against them. Even western comic book fans make fun of furries.

I'm wondering if furries have the same negative stigma everywhere else in the world?
