This discussion is near and dear to me, both as a gamer and game dev. Transparency. Why can we not have more transparency? I've contemplated starting a blog about this just to get things off my chest and also educate the general gaming community not in the know, but in a nutshell...legal. There are just some (a lot of) things we can't say for a large number of reasons. It sucks, I know. I can't talk about things we are doing, who we're doing them with, or why we can't throw all our resources at BLR in one big Death Star trench run style attack.

I get it, it sucks.

Could we relay more information to the community? Maybe. Perhaps that's my failure. I've been bit by the community for being overly optimistic on things, so now I'm a little more conservative. No news is good news right? (no, not always)

There's a big patch coming. When? Dunno, we're still finalizing and testing it. Spoon(tm).

Will it have balancing in it? No, unfortunately not. Blame me for that. What is in it? A lot of clan and general bug fixes, along with the new Loadout System.

Why do we hype the updates? In general because we are quite proud of them. We would like the community to be proud too. Do we get to put every fix and feature into them we, or you want? No. Do we get to test from every possible angle? No. We keep pushing and we keep trying though.

Why don't we just give up on BLR? Because we still care. From the outside in, it may not appear that way but we do. There's not a day that goes by without some BLR discussion going on here in the office.

Hope everyone is doing well. -alf"
