Any affordable internet plans for students?

I honestly just need internet in my room. I'm renting a basement suite and my landlord doesn't have internet which is uncanny nowadays but the point is I need it for school. Whats the best option for me, as I really am looking for something that is affordable and works, basically to stay connected via laptop and tablet. I also have my PS4 here with me but doubt I'll use it that often.
