NOOOOO. ALTERNATE VIEW POINTS. NOOO

My parents are very conservative, my sister is moderate and I'm insanely liberal. My parents often like to call me "ignorant", "immature", "uneducated", etc. as a rebuttal to me arguing with them with statistics, facts, or counterclaims.

They earlier said "your grandfather would be deeply disappointed if he heard about your sympathy towards BLM". I am being told I'm a fucking shame to my family simply for not sharing the same political opinions with them.

Since I've been young I've always prided myself in being well educated and deeply opinionated, but my parents would rather view it and refer to it as "being stubborn". How can I not be when I get talked down to for being empathetic?!?
