Gym prices

How much is reasonable to pay for a membership to a gym for jujitsu? I just moved into school and was looking for a place to practice and the closest gym is charging $149 a month plus a $199 one time fee. Back home I paid $189 for three months for a place with a lot more mat space. I want to practice but I'm a college student trying to save money.
