Are We Impulsive?

So I've been seeing some descriptions of both Se and Ne users as impulsive. Additionally, I saw a description of the "weaknesses" of the ENTP's that listed recklessness and impulsive spending.

I don't get the impression that we are impulsive, and I certainly don't think that I am impulsive. Flighty, yes. Lack of commitment, maybe.

But any risky decisions are heavily filtered through my mind before I do anything. Sometimes, I'll just say 'fuck it' so I can have some fun without worrying, but it's always considered first.

I do have some discarded hobbies behind me that I probably shouldn't have spent money on, but I'm actually kinda stingy with my purchases. I do a lot of consideration because I want to be absolutely certain before I waste money on anything.

All in all, not impulsive at all. What about you?
