High school Senior with a part time job. Looking to move out when college begins.

I am a 17 year old high school senior looking to move out of my parents house when college begins next year. I'm looking for advice on how to search for a good 2 bedroom apartment (which I will be sharing with a roommate) and how to save money each month when I first move into the apartment. My parents have agreed to pay my tuition and I will be able to get a new part time job that guarantees a minimum wage of 10.50/h from my father who works at Lowes when I turn 18 this coming March.
