TIFU by flying dirty

I know its something we've all heard before but I never believed it would happen to me. I lost everything.

I was so excited to get my type 7. With the trade in from my type 6 I had just enough and not wanting a plain old stock type 7 I also sold my fully kitted out viper mk IV for a couple mil so I could afford upgrades. Everything was great for a while, made a couple mil and was planning on buying another viper to replace my old one. Instead though I decided to upgrade my last few components on the type 7 so I wouldn't have to worry about it later. I just barley had enough used my last million to fill my cargo hold and set off with less than 50k cr, but in just 2-3 hops I would have enough for the rebuy cost so I figured what the hell.

I was taken out by someone only 2 jumps from my destination, didn't even look to see if it was a player or npc, was just focused on getting out. I get to the rebuy screen and see that even with the loan I couldn't afford the base cost for my ship. So thats it, i'm back in a sidewinder, square one. Learn from me CMDRs, don't fly with less than your insurance premium, ever.
