Samsung subwoofer linked but no sound

My sound bar is linked to the subwoofer as evident by the blue LED light. The woofer is making some very muffled sounds but not much else. I've reset the settings on the woofer via the reset button in the back but no luck. I recently had Comcast install a new router and I've read this could cause interference if the signals match. I tried turning off the 2.4ghz signal and nothing. This is driving me CRAZY. Thank you!!
