Should I buy the Mini Van?

I'm brand new to Mechanical Keyboards. I just bought the Pok3r 2 weeks ago and I'm already feeling the itch for more. (I was warned) I love the size of the poker but I really want something even smaller to transport to school for notes. My main question is, can I make it quiet enough for note taking in class? And my second question is, is the mini van worth it? I've seen all the hype about it but being such a novice I really don't know.
