Box car end cap?

Am I the only one who finds it odd that there is not a flat end cap shaped to fit on the end of an open box car?

Of the longer pieces, only one end is closed off and unless you add an additional shorter section to it to close it off, you have to use a wall that is oversized and looks naff.
