Women is pregnant, how much money will she take from my centrelink payments?
I get $630 per fortnight on centrelink. Life has been good until I got a message that some women is pregnant. If she has the child she'll be able to garnish my centrelink for 18 years.
I need to rearrange my finances so I can weather this terrible burden.
How much money will she take from me?
Are there any good damage mitigation strategies for dealing with this women?
edit: I don't want children and intend to excommunicate this women for having children without my permission.
Update: Child Support women at centrelink call centre quoted me $15 per fortnight.
Update: Women decided to keep child (6 weeks pregnant). Women has history of miscarriage (12 miscarriages). Also women says she does not expect anything from me and said she is not interested in the $15 per fortnight. Things are looking good for AustralianFriend. This inconvienience has inspired me to get a vasectomy to avoid future trouble ($7,039 of child support over 18 years vs the price of vasectomy).
