Canopy Botanicals Review From a Kratom Newcomer/To-Be Connoisseur

First of all, I'd like to thanks Alan with Canopybotanicals for his great customer service and lighting fast shipping- 2 days from order to doorstep both times I've ordered, and according to my usps tracking, my 3rd order will have arrive tomorrow and will have also only taken 2 days. Can't beat that! Now, since this is my first review on kratom, I'll tell you all a little bit about myself. I suffer from chronic back pain caused by scoliosis and 2 herniated discs from lifting weights when I was a teenager (I am now 21). I am also an ex-heroin, meth, pill (benzos, opi's, muscle relaxants, stims, etc etc) pretty much anything and everything. I couldn't ever go a day without thinking about how much better I thought life would be if I was just high on meth. I won't go into too much detail, but I have been around the block with drugs and felt incapable of living a life with any meaning or joy without them. I have recently, in the past few weeks, come across this subreddit and did some researching about different sellers/vendors as well as the effects of kratom itself. It definitely does not even compare to hard drugs in terms of getting high- I would NOT even compare the two under most circumstances (now is an exception to describe my situation). Kratom makes my back pain diminish, and leaves me in a great mood, and has completely caused my drug cravings to be completely erased!! I am so thankful for that demon to be gone from my life, it was made life miserable. I feel normal now, my life doesn't revolve around drugs or a depressed mood caused by my back pain anymore. Kratom saved my life, and it couldn't have been at any better time in my life (expecting a baby boy in 8 days!!). So glad to be a part of this community; I plan on leaving reviews on every strain I try, more in-depth than this review in particular. I've only ever purchased from Canopy Botanicals, and don't plan on switching to any other vendors. CB has me more than satisfied with the quality of their kratom, as well as their customer service- having asked several questions thought their customer support phone number. Today my 3rd order of 75g golden brown kratom arrived along with 3 samples: pink elephant, green sumatra, and green hulu kapuas. My next review will include an in-depth review of golden brown and brief reviews of the 3 samples (at least until I order larger quantity of the 3 samples, in order to give a more accurate and higher quality review). For now, here is my first review:

Kratom: Red Maeng Da, White Maeng Da, Red Borneo, White Borneo Supplier: Canopy Botanicals Average Dose: 6g-10g every 4-6 hrs Grind: Varies between strains Odor: Not enough experience to really describe it, but I'd say of the 4 strains, white maeng da has the strongest odor. Time: Peak Period 1hr 30min Total 6hrs (overall consistent with all 4 strains). Neuro Factors: Red Maeng Da- r9/10 s1/10 p8.5/10 m8/10 e9/10 * This so far is my favorite strain, with a lovely amount of sedation and euphoria, a perfect synergy that cures my insomnia and chronic back pain in a pinch- and drifts me into a calm and peaceful full night of sleep that I so very much long for.

White Maeng Da- r7/10 s5/10 p8/10 m8/10 e8/10 * I was surprised at the level of motivation this strain put me on, WOW! The strong motivation also came with a clear minded and strong stimulation without the jitters, shakes, or anxiety (quite the contrary), and a good amount of euphoria. White Borneo- r/10 s/10 p/10 m/10 e/10 * Will review specifics with this strain in my next review coming soon..

Red Borneo- r8/10 s3/10 p7/10 m6/10 e6.5/10 * This strain is a little bit more physically relaxing than the red maeng da, but isn't quite as euphoric. I didn't feel sedated at all, so it came to a surprise to me when it made falling asleep a snap.
