USB 3.0 ports not working

Alright so I've had my Rift for about a week and none of the 3.0 ports on my PC were working, so I bought this PCI express 3.0 hub to use instead of having my sensor in a USB 2.0 slot. But for some reason the Oculus app is still saying the sensor is plugged into an incompatible port. Anyone know what I should do?
