[Question] Does Fallout 4 game need an SSD?

Because, im stuck with a 1GB card that doesn't run the game perfectly, textures are muddy, and LODs are terrible, but if I use mods ot programs to edit textures and lower their resolution, the game engine takes its candy ass time to load and even more when I reach areas only to find them devoid of all life ... only for it to spawn ontop of me after 2 minutes of loitering around.
