Tourist destinations with good waves?

Been working on a parasail boat and hotel front desk the last couple years in Cocoa Beach, Fl and I'm currently trying to decide where to go next..spending the winter in Colorado at a ski resort and plan on moving somewhere tropical with good waves and a lot of tourism, I want to work as a captain so somewhere with a lot of boat tours/excursions would be best. Thanks for any advice!
