I'll be applying to college soon and I'm narrowing down what I want to do...

And it would be my dream job to design work on/ design renewable energy stuff. Specifically wind turbines but anything in that field would be a dream. I know I would want to major in engineering but what type. I'm assuming it would be mechanical but I just want to make sure. And what would be a useful minor? I appreciate all the help I can get, thanks!
