Low FPS on Ubuntu 16.04

I have recently changed to Ubuntu, installed Steam and DotA, updated my NVIDIA driver, im using -high, minimal configuration but still my max FPS is 30. Used to play DotA on windows with 40+ FPS. Can anyone help me? My laptop spec: 8 gb RAM, i7 , GT 630M Thanks.
