help buying a Gaming laptop up to 2000$ in the UK

Total budget and country of purchase: Budget of up to 2000 US$ buying from England

Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. i want the laptop to be thin, easily portable and clean looking, designs like the Asus GL752VW/Razor blade.

How important is weight to you? Does not need to be super light.
-
Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Windows
-
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 17.3" is what i'm looking for
-
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. If you have no requirements, put N/A. Steam, google chrome, Microsoft office will be run often. I intend to play a wide variety of steam games.
-
If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Games such as Arma 2 and 3, Civilization 6. Should be able to run these games very well
-
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Build quality is the only thing that is important to me, i want a laptop that feels nice to use and will last a good while.

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I want to get the best performance for my money, unsure weather i should wait for more laptops to role out with 10 series graphics cards that might fit my specification of 17.3" display and lightweight design.
