Unable to install cumulative update KB3176934

Earlier I went to install the update but was instead hit with the "We couldn't complete the updates, undoing change" problem. If you aren't aware, this problem leaves your surface in a continuous state of attempting to undo the change, and can only be booted around in safe mode. I was successfully able to boot into safe mode and restart my SP3. Later I was hit with the same error when my surface went to install the firmware update and that cumulative update again. This time I did a system restore to a point before I downloaded these updates to try it again. Still no luck.... Any tips on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

EDIT (FIXED!): After trying almost everything I found a fix that worked for me. You must go into the folder This PC/Windows (C:)/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download and delete all the files in there. DO NOT DELETE THE DOWLOAD FOLDER THOUGH! After doing that just re-run the windows update to download everything again, then install it.
