Administrative to Floor Nursing: How to transfer

I'm a new nurse. People are always talking about how its "a sweet deal" to work in administration, so when I got the chance I jumped at it (I was offered the slot after seeing my computer skills in the other part of the hospital).

I'm now two months in and hating it. It started out strong by reviewing charts but it's devolved into just straight up non-patient data.

I went to nursing school so I could help people and I don't feel happy in this job. Although I've gotten a whole bunch of administrative experience now (thus learning what I don't want to do) I feel like time is slipping away for me to get my floor experience.

Any tips on getting a hospital floor job?
