u-47700: my new favorite drug
I am a major druggie. I love drugs. I have done over 100 different ones, starting when I was 21 (34 now). I have always been a big fan of stimulants, psychedelics, and empathogens mainly. Former tweaker, regular tripper, and occasional etard.
Every now and then I enjoy the warm buzz and the comfy nod from a stamp or 2 or dope. Otherwise I was never much into opiates... until I stumbled across this little gem.
U-4 is an intense, serious drug. But I have come to learn how to use and respect this substance, and it just may well be my favorite of all the drugs I have ever done (if anything, it is right up there with 4-mmc and LSD).
At first, it was difficult. My initial experiences left me with a few sleepless nights, restless leg syndrome, that just-got-hit-by-a-truck look, the gnarliest boogers I have ever had, and a week of nonstop crazy nasal mucus ordeals.
But let me tell you why I love the drug. 15 to 20mg up the nose gives me a rush reminiscent of a fat line of good coke. I get a nice speedy buzz (dope also has a stimulating effect on me, but not as much as u-4), with a pleasant euphoria better than coke and on par with a solid dose of d-amp, though not quite as good as a couple clouds of meth or a good roll. The physical warmth I get resembles that of Vicodin. But my favorite part is the anti depressant and anxiolytic qualities that I find in u-4. The only other substances that have ever made me not feel depressed (I have always hated life and just get through it by trying to keep a sense of humor and with good music and movies) are amphetamines. U-4 does the same for me, except I can sleep and I don't start hearing voices.
YMMV in terms of how it affects you. As I stated, my response to opiates is a little unusual. But I wanted to sing the praises of this stuff and offer a few tips for anyone who already does it or wants to try it.
-
Start small, find the right dose for you, and stick with it. There is not much in the way of pleasant effects to be found with high doses of u-4. The nod isn't very good, and has a confusing, dissociative feel. If that sounds appealing to you, stick with ket or 3 meo. Don't mess with high dose opiates.
-
Be careful with redosing. Don't go past the dose you find is right. Don't chase.
-
When you start noticing a tolerance (this should happen on day 1 or 2), it's time to scale back. I wouldn't recommend tapering. Stick with the same dose, but slowly start increasing the time between redoses, then give it a rest for a few days. Trust me, you don't want to deal with the withdrawals this brings.
-
Don't binge. This stuff is pretty moreish but it is relatively easy to abstain if you don't start chasing. You can get a good night or weekend out of this stuff and should be able to get proper sleep and feel okay afterward if you follow the first 3 suggestions.
-
Take at least a few days off before going back. The tolerance goes away pretty quickly.
-
Pick up a bottle of regular saline nasal spray and use it about 15 minutes after each dose, then use it every hour or 2 after you finish your session. It is not that unpleasant to snort but it will fuck your nose up unless you keep your nasal passages moist.
-
Some cold medicine is good to have on hand. I end up with a runny nose for a day or 2 afterward.
-
Have some diphenhydramine or benzos on hand for the comedown or any withdrawals. U-4 won't keep you up itself, but it can be very hard to want to sleep even if you are done with it. You know, that Friday night type of urge. DPH and benzos will also help you keep from chasing. Also, I sometimes find that I wake up every 2 or 3 hours for a couple nights after a U-4 session, but I usually can fall right back asleep.

Be careful, and be safe. You really shouldn't be doing drugs at all, but if you must, don't be a dumbass.
