"Scarab Claws Passive: On hit with Basic Attack, to a target with a Shield shreds all of their armor for 6 seconds." Who writes these card descriptions and when will they learn english?

A good number of cards that aren't raw stats are borderline incomprehensible. Way too many times I've had to explain to friends in game how a card works, and I only discovered that after testing the thing.

Why not "Passive: Basic attacks against shielded enemies destroy all their armor for 6 seconds" ?

Why the 'on hit'? Are people expecting their attacks and abilities to apply debuffs even if they miss the target?

Why the comma splice?

Why the shred keyword? Where in any tutorial is this keyword defined in the game?
