How to Grow a Socialist Organization? [X-Post from r/communism]

Hey comrades,

My purpose for this post is for everyone to share their ideas/experience on how they grow their respective Marxist organizations, so we can all learn from each other and exchange new tactics and ideas. I.e. do you reach out to unions, local universities, environmental groups? How do you do it? Is it working?

*also if you're not currently a member of any group still feel free to share your ideas, so we can discuss them together.

Thanks!
