What do you look for when you buy at a dispensary?

Most dispensaries don't list THC% or anything, usually you just see a strain name and maybe if it's a hybrid or indica or sativa and then the price.

So what do you do to pick your strain? Do you just go by price or do you go by genetics or do you like to have a look first and pick the best smelling or best feeling?

I sometimes feel like I'm walking into a bar and ordering "1 alcohol please" when I see 15 strains all in a line and I just pick the one with the coolest sounding name

What should I be looking for to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck, so to speak?
