Will this let me use the prima frame data app?

I haven't found a way to get it through this so far. And I was skimming through the online guide and it says Nash has 3 startup frames on his jump. A few patches ago, every character was given an extra jump frame making the shortest startup 4 frames. This guide is outdated trash from the looks of it.

this is awesome, thanks for posting.

while the info is actually really helpful, the guide formatting is super awkward. but hey it's free.

Prima don't have a good rep by me, is their SFV guide worth reading?

It's definitely a very convenient source compared to googling for spreadsheets and janky wiki pages.

It also has a lot of information that I haven't found anywhere else, such as on which frame a DP counts as being airborne.

I think you need to check out the vframes app or FAT app on your mobile store

I have those, but as my phone is pretty shit and I have two monitors anyway (pc player) I just don't use them.

their online tool is better than the phone app, it's also more concise and to the point compared to the prima guide if you just want straight frame data.

Vframes on indefinite hold :(

I just looked over the section for my character.

It's not the most amazing advice in the world, but I actually did learn (or get reminded of) a few tricks. There were a couple of cancels and juggles that I wasn't aware of.

I think it's pretty nice. Especially since the survey literally takes under a minute.

Yep, IMO it's extremely thoroughly thought through and well written. You feel like you're getting really densely packed information. The Strategy and Combo sections for each character are Gold - you're definitely getting a thorough write up from a very high level player.

Hey thanks for the heads up! That's a pretty sweet offer for a survey.

Just did it, thx for the tip!. btw can you download it or do i need to access the site every time?

That's what I was wondering, I'd like to put it on my Kindle instead of having to faff around on the website.

is legit, thanks dude

Completed the survey, registered on-site (not sure if required) and used the coupon on the SFV eGuide. Thanks for the heads up!

Thx! It seems good and it's up to date.

very cool, thanks. i wrote a lot in the feedback boxes about guides. would love to see them put out an app instead of an eGuide. sometimes when you're out at a tournament cell reception can get dodgy and once you've got the page up you've gotta shift all around with the weird formatting. i'd happily spend the cash on a well made app for a fighter.

Agreed

Hm, been so used to checking out Vframes app, but a few friends suggested I'd give this a shot. Doesn't hurt to have another resource.

Thanks a bunch! I'm going to use this to mess around with some new characters. Even the section on my main gave me a couple of ideas. Not a bad guide.

Sweet! Thanks for sharing.

That's about all a prima guide is worth.

The guide is neat, but some of the stuff is outdated, like the character archetype chart, which doesn't include the DLC fighters.

Thanks for the tip. But is there a way to download it ? Because if you a have bad connection like me it's a tad tedious to read through the pages and all. It could be worth it if the guide was up to date quickly, but that doesn't seem the case.
