Extreme Tolerance Reduction Thread.

NSFWTolerance reduction!

Aren't you tired of hearing posts about people bitch about how 'OMG i've just snorted an ounce of speed and didnt feel shit must be bunk!!!' Tolerate no more. Just link them 2 this thread. Contains everything ever said and done about stimulant tolerance with scientific links. So scientific I forgot the milk.

1. Dose Less

This is important because say you are going through a speed binge and insufflate 50mg every hour for 12 hours. You would think that nahhh tolerance wouldn't be too high I'm just doing bitty lines, but the half life for amphetamine is 11 hours and the active amount inside of you at that point (not to mention the metabolites) would be around 300mg. Would you feel like you just took 300mg at that point? Real amphetamine tolerance builds very fast and reduces very fast, if you aren't feeling it any more take a break don't chase the feeling. The first time you ever popped an adderall, how long did you feel it for? Now you can see why it is illogical to redose so frequently on drugs with such long active periods.

2. Hydration

Water is good for you. Drink 2-4l daily. Salt is also crucial for hydration and stimulants will deplete this factor at an accelerated rate as well.

3. Protein

Food is good for you. Of the components of food, protein is the most essential. You can skimp on calories as long as you have extra body fat and consume enough protein. Carbohydrates are also important. If you're having trouble eating, invest in becoming a non-shit cook. Science approved.

4. Long Break

Just take a break from it all, mane. Drugs that aren't cocaine stay in your body for a long time. If you take a .5 of amphetamine, after 3 days there will still be 10mg of amphetamine in your body, but of course you wont feel like you just popped an adderall. You will probably feel like complete shit, and for good reason. This is more applicable to those that dose daily. Don't worry, you can still do other drugs while your tolerance is being reduced through breaktime, you just can't go fast. Quitting caffeine is also a good idea because caffeine is just a generally shit drug. Modafinil can be taken to fight off fatigue while taking breaks if that's a problem for you. No other drug fucks up sleep with the potency that caffeine does.

5. Change Locations

When your body is used to not being high in a certain location, it can fool itself into being less high then it actually is. Try moving around a little, go for a walk if you feel like you 'don't know how you feel'. After a while change your walking location. (Walk down A street for one month, walk down B avenue for a second month.)

6. Cold

Neurotoxicity is temperature dependent such that two groups of rats fed neurotoxic doses of MDMA can either become brain dead or emerge healthy and unaffected simply from a 20 degree ambient temperature change. Try turning up the AC and wearing less clothing. Alternatively, get the XL slush from the 7/11. Avoid exercise of any kind while on very high doses of stimulants. Avoid hats. I prefer mango slush.

Take Magnesium

Risk: 0/10, Benefit 5/10

Risks: Diarrhea at very large doses. Benefits: Large reduction in stimulant tolerance and neuroprotection. Find a chelated supplement, you want something that is bound to an acid like 'magnesium citrate, magnesium glycinate, magnesium taurate.' You do not want to take magnesium chloride or magnesium oxide, these are not as effective. You want 400mg of elemental magnesium, which will be 2000mg of magnesium glycinate or like 1500mg of magnesium citrate. It should be taken before sleep.

Take Zinc

Risk: 2/10, Benefit 5/10

Risks: Potential nausea at standard doses, Copper depletion at very large doses. Benefits: Large reduction in stimulant tolerance and neuroprotection, along with direct stimulant potentiation. If you jerk off a lot while spun this can restore depleted zinc levels and increase seminal volume. Zinc also directly potentiates amphetamine by acting on the same receptors and being a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. You only need 10mg of zinc daily to meet dietary requirements, but doses of up to 100mg can be used safely for short periods.

Memantine

Risk: 4/10. Benefit 6/10

Risks: Uncomfortable dissociation due to long half life, potentially negative cognitive effects (confusion, memory loss, fatigue) Benefits: Enhanced recovery from amphetamine binges, robust neuroprotection, tolerance reduction through NMDA antagonism and potentiation through D1 receptor agonism. Start at 2.5mg if you're healthy. This might be difficult to source as well but your doctor might prescribe it if you ask, should you be getting a script. You can source it if u try.

Dissociative and Psychedelic experiences

Risk: 6/10, Benefit ?/10

This is more based on anecdotal reports based on anything but many report having tolerance reversed or diminished after enlightening psychedelic experiences. The same goes for dissociative experiences but these are more believable because long term treatment with therapeutic doses reduces tolerance. It's up to you, but a trip every now and then can't be unhealthy. (except for the risk of mental disorder precipitation and HPPD)

Amphetamine Microdose

Risk: 10/10. Benefit 10/10

There are many reports of very low doses of amphetamine (<3mg) producing profound and immediate tolerance reduction through many mechanisms. This is also risky for reasons you will discover through your own research however so it's up to you. I'm not recommending it because I don't wanna hear 'fuck you gaben you milk peddling cocksucker I cant stop fucking touching my left eyelid'
