Cost to upgrade and how much you get back from Recycling

i was trying to figure out whether or not it was worth upgrading cards early on, so I did the math on upgrade costs & recycle value. Thanks again to u/SpAnser for data mining the upgrade costs and recycle values.

Full spreadsheet here. For the "Power you lose by recycling" values, i used how much you would get from recycling the completely non-upgraded card as the baseline profit level.

Long story short, you only lose out on 9 power from a fully maxed out common, so you should feel comfortable upgrading your favorite commons (esp the ones with great combos like Fry, Linda, etc). A maxed out rare gets 70% back, and a recycled maxed out epic would net you 50%. For those progressing, there may be some cases where it makes more sense to keep commons in your deck a bit longer if you can upgrade them higher, knowing that you'll likely regain most of that power back.
