Sieve won't update.

Pretty much every time that something hasn't worked right in the past, updating the sieve has fixed it just like the creator always says. So yesterday I was having a small issue that I can't even remember now and went to try updating and it didn't work. Everything disappears and it says "Loading.."

So I then closed the options and found that nothing at all worked. Not imgur, not facebook, nothing. Looked at the sieve and it says "Empty...". Clicking "Update Sieve" here gives me the same "Loading..." as before. So, it must have erased my sieve when trying to update, but didn't update.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled from the Chrome Web Store. Had the same result when clicking "Update Sieve".

I then uninstalled and reinstalled from the Google Drive archive. Same result.

Disabled all other extensions. Same result.

As it is now, with a fresh install, everything I've tried except for clips.twitch.tv works fine, but my sieve does not appear to update when I click the button. What am I doing wrong?
