Druid - Circle of Pestilence
Hi guys! I've been toying with the idea of a druid who shapeshifts into monsters instead of beasts, and found it interesting to linger on the darker side without being inherently evil.
This is just a first-draft, but I would sure appreciate your opinions and ideas for improvement. Also: Sorry for the formatting. Pretty new at this.
Circle of Pestilence Death, Decay and Pestilence is neither good nor evil, but all part of the balance of Nature. Furthermore, Monstrosities are also part of mother nature's beloved creatures, even though most mortals are to narrow minded to accept this as the truth.
Magical Blight Add Ray of Sickness, Melf's Acid Arrow and Stinking Cloud to the Druid spell list. You can learn these spells as long as you are high enough level to cast them.
Monstrous Shape When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action. Additionally, when you use Wild Shape, you assume the shape of a Monstrosity instead of a Beast. All other Wild Shape rules apply.
Circle forms Same as Circle of the moon.
Fangs of Decay Starting at 6th level, your melee attacks while in Wild Shape deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.
Aura of Sickness At 10th level, as an action you can inflict a disease upon a non-diseased creature within 10ft of you. On a failed save the effects are immediate. You choose between Cackle fever, Sewer Plague or Sight Rot (DM guide pg.257)
Contamination By 14th level, whenever an enemy within 5ft of you hits you with a melee attack, they must make a Constitution saving throw against your Druid spell save or become poisoned until the end of its next turn. Once the effect ends, the enemy is immune to this effect for 24 hours.
