92 Grossman Review

Other

92 Grossman, no synergies active. Plays with Shattenkirk on the first line and on the first line of all pp/pk lines.

19 GP, 6 G, 5 A

Skating: 7/10

Grossman isnt going to win any marathons, but he is not supposed to. His rating is a 91, but I would say he feels more like an 87, fast enough to be useful and not be an issue. Really, the best part of his skating is how physical he is. Seems pretty hard to knock him off the puck.

Passing: 7/10

Again, nothing special here. Just feels ordinary in this category. No issues, but nothing stands out positively either.

Shot: 8/10

Heres where I was pleasantly surprised. His stats are as follows: Slap shot accuracy 80, Slap shot power: 90, Wrist shot accuracy: 80, Wrist shot power: 88. Those accuracy stats are disheartening, but i dont really notice it that much. I feel like alot of clappers from the point go wide and his are not noticeably bad. In fact, his wrist shots especially are great. Generates alot of good rebounds and puts hard shots on, since he can carry it right in with how big he is.

Checking: 10000/10

This is Grossmans area. Holy shit can this guy hit. I have absolutely decked the likes of Thornton, Bergeron, Chara and Byfuglien with him. If a normal sized human skates near him, he is done for. And this is all without his Hard Hitters synergy activated!

Defense- 9/10

Here again Grossman is great. The checking is amazing, poke checks are awesome since he is 6'4 and has 94 stick checking, he gets back in position and does not get caught up ice often.

Overall, I am pretty happy with my choice after 100 draft wins. He is awesome for a Flyers team, great defenseman, and its really awesome having a great player that not many people have. If I were to compare him to a player last year, I would say he is most like a slightly faster Flashback Pronger or a slower Mov Ekblad.

If you have any questions about him, I'd be happy to answer :)
