When do I have to be back on contract to avoid the price hikes?

You must be back on contract by the last day of the billing cycle that you go off contract. That means the phone MUST HAVE SHIPPED on or before the billing cycle end date (BCED) of the billing cycle that you go off contract.

Example 1

Billing Cycle End Date (BCED) = 1st

Contract End Date (CED) = 9/15/16

You must be back on contract by 10/1/16 to avoid the price hikes. Thus, the phone must ship on or before 10/1/16.

Example 2

BCED = 16th

CED = 9/15/16

You must be back on contract by 9/16/16. Thus, the phone must ship on or before 9/16/16.

You can call to have your BCED moved to the day before your CED if you need to have more time to get back on contract.

You can only shorten a billing cycle, you cannot lengthen it.
