Bodies without warmth
Are like an empty temple--
Blossoms blown astray.

Now this is a well modeled haiku. Clean, clear, leaves a distinct impression of loneliness and longing, the emptiness of a heart shattered upon the floor and swept away to the trash like yesterdays yard waste. nice work. your feed back is of course welcome.

Really enjoyed this. The frailty of the blossoms and the solemnity of the temple paint a clear picture of loss. And like u/joefrog said, the dashes really drove home that final line. Great poem

I read your haiku and think of death.

Like you're in a viewing, and you see a loved one, but they're light has gone. There they lie, yet it is no longer them. Their fire has been snuffed out by the wind, like "blossoms blown astray".

Keep up the good work! I'd love for some feedback on my "substance abuse" piece if possible (its not about substance abuse lol)

Damn, I don't know how, but this gives me such a vivid image of a large stone statue filled with blossoms. Well I guess I do know how, because you wrote it so well. I think your placement of the dashes is nicely done, they cut starkly to the image of the blossoms. Having such an image of beauty contrasted to the cold bodies is brilliantly done. Excellent work!
