[Discussion] Make 2h Weapons count as 2 pieces of a set.

Discussion

So, with the One tamriel update hiitting tomorrow i would like too bring up a major bugbear of mine; set limitation due too staff/2h/bow requirement, especially for mag pve/pvp.

Its extremely limiting for builds to know you can't run 2/5/5 because you're running a staff or 2h (often supplemented by 1 kena + 2p such as torugs from wep/head or 3/3/5).

I have spent a long time considering the 'balance issues' and the worst that would happen is items like leki 2h would basically come with a 'budget' maelstrom enchant however, is this actually a problem? You would get it with duel wield anyway.

A lot of magicka builds are made in mind that both mag has bad 5 piece sets (now has better ones due too one tamriel) and that you can feasibly run 2/5/5 unless you're a magplar and even then you run a destro on your offbar.

For balancing purposes you could make it that you don't get the extra +1 bonus set piece unless you're wearing an additional piece, though considering the balance in the game currently this is hardly needed.

TL;DR make 2h weapons such as bows/2h/staff count as 2 pieces of a set

Also an interesting suggestion by u/jeffskai_delver is ''Do you think this could be fixed by adding a craftable "offhand" for 2-handed weapons only like Grips in FFXI? It doesn't break the logic of a single weapon counting as two, but allows for the 4-piece set bonus.'' Sure its a copy idea from another MMO but nearly everything from all MMOs are interchangeable in some way.
