Mega Beedrill: the newest essential Pokémon like Gengar and Rayquaza

All

After seeing the the thread about beating Survival Mode itemless with a fully candied Mega Beedrill I tried it myself. I managed to finish survival in 3 tries using unly 6 k gold on a few Disruption delays. While I thought Beedrill was great here, I didn't think it would be too useful in other modes.

Today I failed the Electivire stage with fully candied/max level team of ground types with Mega Garchomp twice (both times when I could've gotten a present of course). Then I thought why not use our new bee friend? Out of 6 tries with him as my mega not only have I not lost, but I have finished with at least 3 turns left every time.

Then I failed Thundurus Incarnate with it having less then 1% hp (again with Mega Garchomp). Switched to the bee, I finish consistently with at least 2 seconds left on the clock (out of 7 tries). As beedrill stops the timer when it activates you even have 3 seconds to think about your next move which makes it even better.

Mega Beedrill is the new king of short stages with only a few turns or little time to finish the stage when there are lots of disruptions.

Start saving up your candies if you haven't already candied up this monster! This is how I imagine Shuffle in a few months: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAhuSDRIDHE

Edit: Here a few things you might not now about the mechanics of Beedril and Megas in general:

Beedrill can receive up to 12 candies; in which case it will mega evolve in a single 3 match! This makes him the fastest mega evolving pokémon in the game (skill swapped Mega Audio comes close with it's Mega Boost + on a 3 match but that only has a 50% chance of activating in this case).

If you Mega Evolve or match Mega Beedrill as your first match of a turn it will stop the disruption counter! So let's say you start a stage and there are 9 Beedrills (who are positioned in a way that 3 triple matches are possible) on the board with a bunch of disruptions. First turn you match 3 to mega evolve; second turn you match the next 3 and remove a bunch of disruptions and you do the same on the 3rd turn. By now you pretty much have a clean board, your mega is up and running and the disruption counter HASN'T EVEN CHANGED YET.
