I Found Less-Expensive Aluminum Radius Blocks

I was perusing Philadelphia Luthier Tools' site and noticed that they now carry precision-milled aluminum radius sanding blocks that are a lot less than StewMac! The 20" ones are about $80, while the shorter 8" ones are $45. Although it's still not cheap, that's almost half the cost of StewMac's versions.

I have not tried these nor seen them in person so I have no idea about their quality. PLT is good people though, so I'd imagine they're quality beams. I just figured I'd post the link since someone was asking about alu radius beams a couple weeks back. If you want to level frets with a radius beam, these will be much more consistent and accurate than the wooden ones.

EDIT: it would probably help if I actually added the links. Here's the long one and here's the short size. Looks like they're available in most common radii from 7.25" up to 20".

Awesome! Thanks for the link.

Also for reference these ones are $79.99 while the StewMac ones are $136.15.

Ah, for some reason I remember the SM ones being a little more expensive than that. Either way, the PLT ones look like a solid deal in comparison. I already have radius blocks and I'm not in the market for more, but I'm tempted to order one just to check it out.
