no unique/rw/set builds for ladder reset (HC)

I am wondering if anyone else is interested in running the next reset with some self restrictions. I do worry about meeting certain BPs without rw/set/unqiue items, mainly FCR, but I think it would be fun. I just feel like certain items trivialize the game.

I am wondering how much fcr you can get on a paladin with the above restrictions. I am guessing using only blues and rares you can get 20 fcr in mainhand, 20 circ, 10 ammy, 20 from rings, and 10 crafted belt. that would at least hit the 75 fcr BP. 125 seems out of the question.

anyways if interested ill be running on hardcore. discuss builds or anything else related to running the next reset with some restrictions.

Should at least allow the classic uniques, cuz Magefists makes things a whole lot better on a hammerdin.

ya certain items being resticted are gonna be game changer for me. magefists/trangs and wizardspike/spec shard being the main ones. also no insight for merc :P mana pot time.

hammerdins can do pretty well on the 48 fcr breakpoint. 10 fcr scepter, 20 gloves, 10 each ring. Then it opens up easier slots throughout.

Trapassin would be a good build for this.

2 trap claw claws with shaels, rare circlet Cham'd, jewelers armor of the whale and 4 rubies. Probably craft amulets first looking for +assassin skills or traps, life, res. Then go with rings to pick up the rest of your res.

If you get super lucky, and score a Ber or 2 you could go hybrid w/ a 6sock phase blade on swap. For the fastest dragon BP talon you'd need 46 IAS which would be easy to hit w/ 2 shaels, and some ias on gloves. Dream items in sockets for me would be 3xIAS/Res Jewels, 2 Ber, and an Eth. I'd make it and switch to hybrid after I found one ber though, and leave a socket open for another.

Dunno if using runes like crazy is allowed in your master plan. :)
