Okay, let me tell you at what point you lost my interest. It was right...

>But I'll be honest

Here. Now let me show you why.

>I think about you all the time.

Okay so this is going to be another poem about lost love. I hope it doesn't get lost in the same tired old clichés. It better have something new to say, or at list a new way of saying it.

>Of course, I never really admit it
to myself.

Um... what? So the narrator is simultaneously aware of how often he pines for his love, but also somehow unaware of it at the same time??

>Why would I?

Well, I don't know, do I. And more importantly why would I care whether or not you would? Rhetorical questions are rarely interesting outside of the person who says them. Aren't they?

>Didn't need you then,
>don't need you now.

Oof. Heavy handed blaming, plus paradoxical nonsense statements, plus clichéd echo-chamber monologue equals a bad time for your reader.

>But I'll be honest,

Never, in the history of writi

To me, this was something refreshing. Kind of makes the reader visualize an image in the town of an old castle, lit up dimly by the street lights under the moon. Really did a good job on that there !

This is immensely beautiful. The first verse was so romantic, I swear to God I had the jitters just reading it. Feedback time: while I enjoyed the poem, I thought it was a bit cliched. Maybe you should use metaphors more next time, add a bit of ambiguity. But this is beautiful.
