Constant Comcast calls? Anyone else? Worth an FCC complaint?
They've called me 3 times in the last 4 days. First time (10/18 apparently). I listened and said thanks no thanks. Called me again the next day (10/19), and I told them they just called me yesterday and she hung up fast.
Today they called again.
Me:
You've called me the last 2 days and I'm good.
Comcast:
We have it recorded that we called me the 18 and 19 but not yesterday, here is the plan we are offering with a contract (proceeds to state the same plan).
Me:
"I'm good I'll figure it out when my lease/contract expires I'm moving."
Him:
"I hear that all the time from customers, we are only going to offer you a higher price in May 2017, our promotional plan (keeps going)"
Me, angrily interrupting:
"Then I'll cancel my service with Comcast"
Comcast quickly hangs up after hearing my clear agitation in my voice. I'm thinking about filing an FCC report over these phone calls, I made it clear the first time I didn't want the service and it seems like they're trying to get any contracts in before google fiber expands their service or something.
Also just wanted to see if anyone else was getting this call?

Are you positive it's actually Comcast calling you? It very well may be a contracted third party making sales calls on Comcast's behalf. I'd recommend trying to trace the number and see who's actually calling you before making the FCC complaint. It will be more effective if you're nailing the contracted company and Comcast at the same time.
Thanks for bringing this up- turns out the number is not affiliated with Comcast I think ((404) 400-3271). I agree, I should have realized that and its importance so that companies don't receive these incentives from Comcast. They already had my current plan, if they call again I want to see what other details they have on me.
