Perpetual Crimes

Feedback Received!

A poem about the Holocaust, the suffering endured by Jews during WWII, and about the never-ending crimes and hatred many still face to this day, harkening back to the times of the war...

Stuffy wagon.

Smothering wagon.

Suffocating way to the place they call hell.

The rail surrounded by debris, in the air a shell.

It flies towards the Jew,

And the Suffering may go on.

But the choice not theirs, counted are their days,

And so it goes on.

German cheers, morbid cheers,

From Hitler and his peers.

His men take the gun, it shoots a bullet, run!

Breaking the fabric of morality,

It flies towards the Jew, yet another fatality,

And Death may go on.

But the choice not theirs,

Fate has decided, and evil goes on.

Ordered by the Fuhrer,

For the eternal Jew,

Stand tall for selection!

Let Death reap your souls.

And families cry, in fraught affection,

As gas enters their every orifice,

Killing their lives from within,

Filling their crevices, their corpses with sin.

As their souls go to heaven, they die in hell,

In the harrowing showers smothers their every cell,

And others embark on a trudge towards death,

Struggling to survive, as with their terminal breath,

They desolately fail and expire.

The machinery of Death may go on,

But the choice not theirs, misery awaits,

As lessons unlearned... and the crimes will go on.
