###Shale Gas Production Within Ukraine

Boosts to Ukraine's economy have been occurring throughout the entire year, with the conflict in Donbass mostly coming to an end, and the possibility of a peace deal on the horizon, investment into the nation is finally coming back. With this, Ukraine will seek to develop shale gas fields across the nation which are expected to provide wealth to Ukraine and perhaps even the Donbass autonomous zone - which will most likely arise in the future.

####Yuzivska Gas Field

The [Yusivska Gas Field] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuzivska_gas_field) found in 2010 is situated in Ukrainian held Donetsk Oblast and overlaps into Kharkiv Oblast. A deal was reached with Royal Dutch Shell, in which the company would operate the Ukrainian gas field for a price of $10bn United States Dollars.

This year, gas extraction is to commence as stated by Ukraine and the Netherlands. Production is estimated at 960million cubic feet/day is expected, with total proven reserves being totalled at around 70.8 trillion cubic feet. This is to be one of the largest gas operations within Ukraine and most likely will provide unparalleled economic growth for the nation. We hope the Dutch are still willing to cooperate with the operation of this gas field and are open to cooperation with Donetsk in the future.
